Continuous Sampling Plan

A continuous sampling plan is suitable where goods are manufactured in a continuous flow as opposed to in batches or lots. Initially, 100% of the goods are inspected (screening). Once a pre-determined number of units have been inspected and no defects are found, random sampling is introduced until such time as a defective unit is found. When this happens, 100% inspection is reinstated.
