Tightened Inspection
Tags: Quality
According to ISO 2859-1, Tightened inspection is the "use of a sampling plan with an acceptance criterion that is tighter than that for the corresponding plan for normal inspection". It is most often used either for product re-inspection after a FAIL result or when supplier history and/or product history indicates a higher than normal risk of sub-standard quality being shipped.
