Normal Inspection
Tags: Quality
According to ISO 2859-1, Normal inspection is an inspection done using a sampling plan "with an acceptance criterion that has been devised to secure the producer a high probability of acceptance when the process average of the lot is better than the acceptance quality limit". In most cases, this means that there is no reason to suspect that a higher or lower than normal risk exists of sub-standard quality being shipped.
