A Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTS) code is a mandatory 7-10 digit product classification code that must be assigned to a traded good. The first 6 digits follow the international standard HS Code of the product whilst the 7th to 10th digits are determined by the Harmonised Tariff Schedule of the country of import and is used to further classify the product.
